Cystic acne, what is it? The cystic or cystic acne, the most severe form of the condition, occurs when dead skin cells and sebaceous secretions accumulate in deeply inside the hair follicles and breaking under the skin generates boil shaped infections.

No one is free of acne. They may even be cases of acne in babies. However, the most common age for this condition ranging from 10 to 40 years. Hormonal changes often cause the appearance of this condition, so pregnant teenagers or usually "candidates" ideal, although boys and men are not free when it comes to acne.

The cystic acne can appear on the face, buttocks, English, armpits and other parts of the body where perspiration tends to accumulate.

The cysts are soft and pus that contains dead bacteria, is installed inside. This makes them really painful for anyone that suffers.
Also may include cystic acne nodules, painful formations that form under the skin, hard to the touch. When both cysts appear as nodes, the condition is called nodulocístico acne.
Although anyone can get it, cystic acne usually stems from genetic causes. It is a matter of heredity, especially as teens whose parents, one or both-have in their personal history of cystic acne episodes inevitably tend to suffer.
The cystic acne should be treated immediately by a dermatologist, to avoid severe outbreaks that can leave serious marks on the skin, and psychologically affect the patient. If not treated early, the after-effects of cystic acne can be permanent.
